APM Mechanics

APM Mechanics includes following components:

1 APM Drive – component for rotational motion drive mechanism of arbitrary scheme design
2 APM Trans – component for mechanical transmission calculation and design
3 APM Shaft – component for shaft calculation and design
4 APM Bear – component for non-ideal rolling contact bearing calculation. This program include new unique results in the theory of non-ideal contact problem
5 APM Joint – component for machine element joints design. Wide range of joint types can be calculated (threaded, welded, cylindrical (interference fit), splined, keyed joints etc.). Calculations can be made for arbitrary configuration of joint elements, base surface, and loading.
6 APM Spring – component for calculation and design of springs and torsion bars
7 APM Cam – component for cyclic action mechanisms (cams and Maltese crosses) calculation and design
8 APM Slider – component for 2D lever mechanism calculation and design
9 APM Plain – component for radial and thrust plain bearings calculation
10 APM Screw – component for non-ideal translational movement gears calculation (including gliding type, ball screw gears, planetary screw gears)
11 APM Graph – 2D graphical editor with parametrization tools.
12 APM Mechanical Data – database for standard machine elements and parts storing. It provides all necessary operations of their specifying, editing and deleting as well as mechanical engineering reference data.
13 APM Material Data – material database
